What I liked

The circus tricks clearly depend entirely on skill and training, no tricks in a setting this intimate. The show has just the right balance (pun intended) between storytelling and physical skills.

What I didn't like

More performances! The run is completely sold out, which is good news for the producers but more people should see this show. I was able to get in on a waitlist, so that’s worth a try.

My overall impression

Mesmerizing close-up acrobatics framed by a personal story is an unbeatable combination. The show subtitle could be “feats of skill and feats of will”, though that trivializes both achievements. In the end it’s both an inspiring story and a cautionary tale, with a beautiful final scene where she synthesizes a new direction for herself.
