Junru is a very likable performer who survived a very difficult childhood. A fascinating story of growing up in a very different culture. An empowering display of strength and resilience. It took a few minutes for me to get used her playing the the various characters from her childhood, but she did it well, and I liked her own personality as the told the story. And of course, her beautiful displays of hand balancing, contortion, and other circus skills.
What I didn't like
It all worked. Any minor imperfections in the presentation will smooth out with a few more performances in front of an audience. Keep doing it.
My overall impression
A fascinating story, told by a very talented acrobat who lived it. I highly recommend.
