Review by BARRETT DEYOUNG

What I liked

The soul of the piece.

Yes, her brilliance as a contortionist is a joy and marvel to watch, but what shines more than anything is that this piece has a living, breathing soul; and that soul is Junru.

What I didn't like

I dare someone to find anything that could be improved. N/A

My overall impression

Miraculous. I am not exaggerating, blowing smoke, or overstating this show. It was miraculous.

Junru’s story is miraculous, her performance is miraculous, the weight and emotion of the show, it is all miraculous.

This is, by far, one of the most powerful, heartwarming, heartbreaking, breathtaking pieces of art I have ever had the fortune of experiencing. There is nothing less than everything to be taken away from this beautiful work.

Also, she is one hell of a talented contortionist, but she is oh so much more.
