What I liked
Genuine relationships, wonderfully outlandish, unpredictable twists, incredibly entertaining.
What I didn't like
Since I have to fill out all the boxes here. This box asked. “What didn’t work”…okay so I’ll pick a thing that didn’t work for me. Even though I don’t want to. Here goes, the volume of the phone speaker in the coffee shop at the top of the show…might have been a little too loud, distracting from the dialogue. That’s it, that’s all!!!
My overall impression
Coffee Date is the kind of play that pulls you in from the very beginning. You find yourself rooting for every character, becoming emotionally invested in their journeys, and feeling completely immersed in the world of the show. For me it was a perfect blend of humor, madness, relatability, and heartfelt honesty. Such a thoughtful, wonderful, fantastical show!!!!
