What I liked
The dialogue is snappy and adeptly reveals the individuality of each character. The simple, lovely setting is perfect for the contemporary story. Kudos to the team for marketing efforts – with coffee mugs, stickers and a couple cafe tables on stage for some lucky audience members.

My overall impression
COFFEE DATE is a charming, engaging and relatable take on dating and relationships. The smart writing and skillful direction is met by breezy, natural acting to create an overall feel-good vibe. It’s the thoughtful rom-com (with a little sex farce thrown in for good measure) we all need.
