What I liked
All of the actors were delightful to watch. Especially the female leads. Lenka Janischova Shockley reminded me of Annie Murphy in Schitt’s Creek, her cadence and playfulness stole the show.
What I didn't like
I was not crazy about the “dudes,” scenes. I wanted more sensuality between them. It was funny, but they could perhaps be more convincing that they are attracted to one another.
My overall impression
I felt like I was watching an updated episode of Friends at the Central Perk, only the women were so much more interesting. It was joyful, playful. The friends and lovers and writers and lovers were all a delight. It was a play of impressive girth.
