From the award-winning producer of “stuck,” recipient of the 2025 Hollywood Fringe International Exchange Award with Fringe Italia Off, comes the new comedy about modern dating, COFFEE DATE!

Henry (Jonah Weiland) is standing up straight for the first time in years: exercising, going to therapy, back on the apps. He finally meets someone worth showing up for. Laura (Stephanie Chloé Hepner) is smart, funny, brave and completely convinced something will go wrong. So she does what any reasonable person would do: she sends her best friend Tizzy (Lenka Janischova Shockley) to pre-screen him. It does not go well.Then there’s Roger (Spencer Weitzel). Tizzy’s boyfriend. Sort of. It’s complicated.

Set over four days in the same East Los Angeles coffee shop, COFFEE DATE is a naughty, warm-hearted comedy about four people, each of them mid-chapter, trying to figure out who they are, what they want and whether they’re actually ready for what they say they’re looking for.

Sharp, sexy and surprisingly tender, COFFEE DATE is a modern romcom about the absurdity of dating in midlife; the apps, the baggage, the bad dates, the unexpected connections, and the terrifying, wonderful moment when you decide to try anyway.
