What I liked
TL’s powerful story of success despite being different and her subsequent mean-spirited “cancelling” collectively broke the audience’s heart. Watching TL recount with humor and skill the struggle after struggle with her identity in the deaf community, the music world, and then with her body was epic. We couldn’t breathe as she lay on the floor. I learned so much in the 60 minutes that I was in her world. A must see for those who have ever been othered, which, of course, is most all of us!
