What I liked
TL has an electric physicality, a way of expressing herself that is just a joy to watch and viscerally pulls us into the story. I love watching her on stage!

My overall impression
What stands out about this show is that while it is about a specific community (the deaf and HOH) it is so relatable to so many: the experience of existing between two worlds. The feeling of being part of a community, but still “not enough” or “not qualified enough,” the fear of being called out for just existing as we are. This is the second time I’ve seen this show and it just keeps getting deeper and better. TL is a talented performer making us laugh and also at times feel her pain. She puts her whole heart into it, taking us moment by moment through important turning points in the story, whisking through her experience expertly at every turn.
