What stands out about this show is that while it is about a specific community (the deaf and HOH) it is so relatable to so many: the experience of existing between two worlds. The feeling of being part of a community, but still "not enough" or "not qualified enough," the fear of being called out for just existing as we are. This is the second time I've seen this show and it just keeps getting deeper and better. TL is a talented performer making us laugh and also at times feel her pain. She puts her whole heart into it, taking us moment by moment through important turning points in the story, whisking through her experience expertly at every turn. ... full review

TL’s performance was so powerful and vulnerable and brilliant that I saw it twice! I am a hard of sight person (I have vision challenges) and TL’s performance resonated deeply with me. I was touched, moved and inspired! Can’t wait for what TL does next and I’ll be there!... full review

Raw, daring, dynamic, and completely gripping… TL Forsberg shines a light upon the world of deaf culture and the shadow of ableist culture while simultaneously holding up a mirror to it. Challenging audiences to sit with the discomfort of being invited directly into the lived experience of a world many tend to ignore, TL’s personal journey wrestling with her own identity and place within the in-between of hearing privilege and deaf culture pulls you in and does not let go, even after the lights have gone down. A must-see. ... full review

TL has always been a powerhouse singer, and she brings that same energy to her show, "Between Two Worlds." She tells her story with heart and humor, and there's something for everyone to relate to, whether deaf or hearing. Get tickets while you can, it's a must-see!... full review

As a Deaf person, my experience is different from hers, but I appreciated her honest portrayal of growing up hard of hearing between the hearing and Deaf worlds. Her performance was emotional, humorous, and genuine. What stayed with me most was her journey toward self-acceptance and confidence in who she is. I enjoyed seeing her confidence shine through as she embraced her own identity. A heartfelt and engaging show. Congratulations on a wonderful performance!... full review

TL is truly a force of nature. Here show is raw, vulnerable and at moments, hysterically funny. I highly recommend this very entertaining and highly educational show. Anyone who has ever felt marginalized for whatever reason will be able to relate.... full review

TL’s “Between Two Worlds” is a must see for all. Whether you are Deaf, hard of hearing, disabled, or not, she tells a story that many can relate to: not fitting into a box, enough. I was engaged from the first minute to the last. TL’s energy, humor, and presence is contagious. I highly recommend to go see TL.... full review

Wow it was brilliant. It moved and surprised me. I've seen Between Two Worlds twice now and the second time hit differently. I noticed more and it touched me in a new way TL is doing something that I found difficult for the shows that I have seen; it made me laugh, broke me heart, and I learned things and it changed my assumptions about d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing identity. The stories she shares are vulnerable in the truest sense.... full review

A beautiful true story for anyone who has felt othered… I learned so much more about the world of someone who is hard of hearing, and hearing about TL’s life experiences and the impact of how quick as a society we are to judge others on someone was so impactful. More than one person was in tears by the end. ... full review
