What I liked
Isaiah created characters that are very rooted in reality and easy to either relate to, or think, “Yah, I know someone like that.” The entire cast had great chemistry with each other and really bounced off one another. I enjoyed that the set was very minimal as it drew us in closer to the heart of the storyline.
What I didn't like
The pacing of the dialogue during certain scenes can be improved on to keep the overall audience engagement steady throughout the entire duration of the play.
My overall impression
“The Roommates” was an explosion of comedy and drama, wrapped up into a classic roommate horror story! The characters are unique and well-written with the overall storyline interesting and intriguing. The plot twists during the play kept me on the edge of my seat, especially the twist at the very end! I was gasping and had to keep picking my jaw back up off the floor!
