Diya was very grounded and honest in her performance. Oqalile was quite remarkable in his ability to have gravitas while simultaneously adding whimsy, which is not easy to pull off. Bravo to both actors!
What I didn't like
The air needed to be taken out of this performance – it went over time significantly, and a couple of the important moments lost momentum.
My overall impression
Combining two solo shows was an interesting move that paid off well. Two shows about searching for identity in different ways were relatable and poignant for the times we are living in now.
