I loved the ambition behind pairing two distinct solo performances into one theatrical experience. Oqalile Tshetshe delivered a charismatic and deeply moving exploration of identity, culture, and the power of one’s name, while Diya Kumar thoughtfully examined the expectations placed upon women navigating multiple cultural worlds. Together, their stories created a rich conversation about belonging and self-definition.

My overall impression
To Make Your Existence Easier is a heartfelt and thought-provoking production that invites audiences to reflect on heritage, identity, and the courage it takes to embrace who we truly are. The themes are timely and universal, and I admired the vulnerability both performers brought to the stage.
