What I liked
The story builds slowly at just the right pace to completely immerse you in this family’s grief and their attempts to understand and support one another.
What I didn't like
The minimal set design really helped to enhance the focus on the actors and its neutrality helped facilitate the very unexpected ending. On occasion, as rapt as this play held me, I did miss a bit of the dialog from stage left, though that could have just been my aging ears! Thanks so much for such a deeply moving experience.
My overall impression
White Lilies is beautifully written and performed, deeply touching and thought-provoking. The heartbreaking ending leaves an impact on the soul.
