The dialogue felt natural between two brothers with a strained relationship and the bookend frame for the show really worked for me (especially the music!!). I also really enjoyed the set design and the stagecraft of that moment towards the top. The lighting choices also helped reinforce the mood of the scenes.
What I didn't like
While I thought the discussion about the daughter of one of the brothers was engaging, I wish it tied in a little bit more with their relationship with their mother, perhaps even giving us insight into who the mother was as well. This might be nitpicky though!
My overall impression
The complexity of sibling relationships in the wake of hardship is on display in White Lilies. The connection of the brothers is a strength of this piece with some clever stage magic.
