Hold onto your lilies folks, this one will shake you. The script – clever and disarming – hooks you from the beginning and never lets go. By the time it’s over you’re left in a stage of shock. You’ll replay the entire experience in your mind to reexamine things knowing what you know now.
I dig a show that takes big swings like this, and White Lilies swings for the fences. It’s the kind of theater that Fringe exists to champion.
The actors, facing a very high level of difficulty, rose to the challenge and delivered convincing, heartfelt performances.
