The performances were well-developed and lived in.

My overall impression
White Lilies is a concise, well-written one-act drama that is grounded in stellar performances from its leads, Andre Cazenave and JC Best. Between them, the two actors bring a depth of relationship to the brothers that they play, making every minute of the play’s hour engaging. The script gives the actors room to shine in the back-and-forth of its dialogue, and it includes a touch of surrealism that works well to heighten the impact of its psychological themes. The set, though spare, does a lot with a little to bring out the reality of the characters. Go see this play!
