The performances are deeply lived in, and you can tell the show went through real development: the choices feel embodied in a way that can only come through serious rehearsal and directorial work. The stagecraft is icing on the cake.
What I didn't like
The rain noises could’ve been a little quieter I guess lol
My overall impression
Subtle, deft, and wonderfully strange two-hander (almost…) in which two very different people circle their differences. It’s so involving the way their conversation starts small, just them trying to connect and be understood, and the holes start to widen, until they’re drawn back into the mire of their childhood roles, their resentments towards each other and themselves, the ways they care for and shun each other. The ending finds us implicated with a moment of pure theatrical daring. Go see it!!!
