The writing was one of the strongest parts of the show. The story developed naturally and kept me interested the whole way through. I liked how details that seemed small at first became more important as the play went on. The setting also worked really well and helped create the world of the story. I also appreciated the comedy throughout the show, the humor felt well timed without taking away. Overall, I thought it was a well written play with a compelling storyline and a lot of personality.
What I didn't like
The story had enough interesting elements that I occasionally wanted to sit with them longer. Other than that, I thought the play accomplished what it set out to do and was enjoyable to watch.
My overall impression
I really enjoyed White Lilies.
It had a strong sense of place from the beginning, and I found myself getting more invested as the story unfolded. There were a few moments that genuinely surprised me, especially what felt like an "environmental twist " that changed how I looked at everything happening on stage. It was interesting to watch all the different pieces come together over the course of the play.
