The set did not give away the ending, The actors were on point and riveting to watch, the music was not overpowering, the dialogue was crisp and the direction was very slick
What I didn't like
In a 50 minute play it’s hard to say what could be improved. Everything seemed to flow well and I don’t have any suggestions.
My overall impression
White lilies, directed by Rush Z is a fast paced play, which encompasses family, drama, intrigue, and some supernatural elements that make it refreshing.
The play keeps us guessing about wounds that survive beneath the surface which resurface at times of stress, trauma, and make situations more relatable.
The acting was to the point by both actors and the dialogue was crisp. The pace was excellent keeping us guessing what other emotion was going to surface in the next sentence.
The director has explored human elements of trauma, family, stress, mental health issues, and sibling emotions, dealing with grief.
