I really enjoyed White Lilies.
It had a strong sense of place from the beginning, and I found myself getting more invested as the story unfolded. There were a few moments that genuinely surprised me, especially what felt like an "environmental twist " that changed how I looked at everything happening on stage. It was interesting to watch all the different pieces come together over the course of the play....

White lilies, directed by Rush Z is a fast paced play, which encompasses family, drama, intrigue, and some supernatural elements that make it refreshing.
The play keeps us guessing about wounds that survive beneath the surface which resurface at times of stress, trauma, and make situations more relatable.
The acting was to the point by both actors and the dialogue was crisp. The pace was excellent keeping us guessing what other emotion was going to surface in the next sentence.
The director has explored human elements of trauma, family, stress, mental health issues, and sibling emotions, dealing with grief....

Losing a loved one can be quite a challenge and can invoke a lot of emotions, feelings and actions. This piece is an important example to remind people that we all grieve and handle it differently....

What starts as an objective look upon a struggling writer reveals itself to be the deeply unreliable perspective of a man who’s lost his reality. Our protagonist maintains a semblance of normalcy that turns in a fashion that creates a disconnect - we as an audience question ourselves. Did we see it? Are we bystanders, or are we even here?...
