The dialogue felt period without being forced. The transitions from the therapist’s inner-monologue to real-world conversation were excellent. The sound design, set and lighting were all spot on. The acting was wonderful; I especially applaud Benjamin’s transitions from character-to-character throughout.
What I didn't like
Nothing comes to mind. This play is like wine; it’s only going to get better and more refined with time! Bravo.
My overall impression
A complete powerhouse of a play. Barrett has created a truly top-tier work on every level. The script and dialogue were incredibly woven together to create a universal and timely piece of theatre. This play grabs you from the beginning and doesn’t let go. This could be on Broadway, no doubt, and is only the beginning for these immensely talented and heart-felt storytellers. A must see!
