I hope to see more about Michael’s relationships with people at work, family and Peter (the best friend), because that could reflect how the society’s expectation corrupts our existence and soul, as well as allow us to see why Michael choose to run away from everything after his mother’s (possible) death.
My overall impression
Wickedly hilarious! The rhythm and the movements of each cast member keep the audience captivated, and together they vividly articulate the internal conflicts and complexity in the human’s mind and soul. The narrative impacts us so deeply that we have to ask ourselves what the true meaning of life is, opening our eyes to see the differences between survival and living, and how is our existence means to the world and ourselves. I especially love how the ending leaves the audience interpret the destiny of Michael, the protagonist, differently. The story could explore more about the relationships Michael has with his work place, family, and best friend, therefore I hope we could get to see those part after Fringe festival.
