The fact that she could make a show about the postpartum experience that drew a nearly equal gender split in the audience and everyone loved it, to me is a huge feat! Veronica’s comedy is deeply personal but performed with a deep affection for the audience. No one is immune to her magic!
What I didn't like
As the camera person, I didn’t know how well I was supposed to be executing the task and for how long. But the show content itself was flawless!!
My overall impression
Veronica takes you on a journey into the mind of a new mother who has not slept in what feels like 34 years. It’s enough to make anyone mad as a hatter, and she mines her frazzled psyche for all that it has left to offer, which is raw, hilarious, completely unexpected, absurd, tender, gross and daringly vulnerable in a way that few other performers are strong enough to be.
