One of my favorite Fringe performers of all time has done it again! Veronica has a unique way of exposing her heart and telling her story vulnerably and humorously that also brings out the best of our compassions.
At the end of the show Veronica also asked the audience to reach into their hearts and do what they can for the people in her home of Venezuela who have been impacted by the recent earthquake. I chose to donate to the fund with the World Central Kitchen. If you’re reading this and feel inclined, consider donating to the organization of your choice that is able to help. Or find a way that you can offer support that feels right to you. ...

Veronica is out there making bold and brave art for all of the mommies. I truly don’t think I’ve ever related more to a piece of theatre in my life. I cried and laughed and loved every minute of it. Bravo. ...

Loved this show so much and everything Veronica does! I brought my six month old fully prepared that I'd have to step out at points if she got distracted, but the baby was so immersed - she's a fan too! Honestly I almost skipped going to shows this year because I'm 6 months postpartum and overwhelmed but came out just for this one and was so worth it. It was heartfelt, entertaining, unique, and RELATABLE. ...

Veronica takes you on a journey into the mind of a new mother who has not slept in what feels like 34 years. It's enough to make anyone mad as a hatter, and she mines her frazzled psyche for all that it has left to offer, which is raw, hilarious, completely unexpected, absurd, tender, gross and daringly vulnerable in a way that few other performers are strong enough to be. ...

Putting into words, visuals, and jokes what happens to you when you are in the thick of postpartum is a Herculean task; it’s one that Osario masterfully tackles even within the first minutes of her “reveal” in BEBÉ BEBÉ, and it’s off to the races for a raucous, absurdist, provocative, sometimes frightful, thoughtfully hilarious detailing of her experiences with love, pregnancy, birth, and her current journey of postpartum. Osario’s performance is so honest, vulnerable, and warm, even when she’s shouting expletives straight at the crowd (and rightly so! Haha). It’s a truly cathartic and wonderful show!...

This show is so very real and moving. Veronica is hilarious, delirious, chaotic, and real, which I took away as mirroring her postpartum experience. She mentions asking "why don't we see more postpartum art" and the show IS THAT art while also showing us perhaps why more doesn't exist. I loved it....
