The ensemble cast is engaging. Each has their own individual, rich character. Their hinted backstories deserve their own play.
The emotions range from dark humor to true sentiment. The interlude music between scenes provides a nice baseline for the feelings felt.
There are many twists and turns that you will not see coming that actually increases the scope of the story.
The play is highly entertaining and well produced with a great set. If you have a chance to experience this play, don’t miss it!
I am looking forward to more from this playwright.
What I didn't like
I wish there were more showings so more people could enjoy this play.
My overall impression
The action of “Alps, Adieu!” starts even before the audience has been seated in this energetic play that explores how one of life’s big decisions impacts a divided family’s dynamics.
