The entire cast delivers excellent performances, and the writing and direction are sharp.
What I didn't like
I wanted to spend more time with the rest of the characters as they grapple with Augustine’s death. The play ends quite suddenly, just after things have taken an even more absurd turn than anything else that’s come before it. As is, the script feels like a condensed version of a longer piece, and I’d love to see a production where the story has more room to run.
My overall impression
If you’re a fan of pitch-black, absurdist comedy, then Alps, Adieu! is the show for you!
