What I liked

Beautiful premise: The only thing Jon’s politically fractured family can agree on is that their house is haunted.

I love that a the incidents surrounding his Grandmother and her ghostly friend were frightening to Jon (as well as to the audience) but have since become a source of connection to her memory, his childhood, and family.

Tension is skillfully built and broken through Jon’s casual demeanor while storytelling, disrupted by impressive, multimedia special effects.

Jon’s claim that he’s only performing this show at haunted venues like the Broadwater led to a very funny, live conversation with a ghost that identified itself as a “critic”. A spine-tingling highlight!

What I didn't like

Just wanted it to keep going!

My overall impression

A thrilling night at the theatre that delivers humor, horror and heart!
