ANXIETY THE MUSICAL! (do you like that title? is that okay?)

What I liked

The opening was fantastic, the vignettes were hilarious, and the audience participation didn’t stress me out for once! ;) Scenes moved quickly, the energy was palpable, and the audience was on Jasmine’s side from the first moment. The songs were catchy, funny, and never took themselves too seriously. Also I LOVE a Fringe show that comes in under time.

My overall impression

I knew nothing about this show going into it and I walked out fully obsessed with Jasmine Elist! In a Fringe full of solo shows, Anxiety the Musical tops the list for me. Elist pulls only the best tropes of the genre and created a piece that studies personal subject matter without hitting you over the head with it. Also this show is HI-LAR-I-OUS. Highly recommend!
