Olga is one of the few performers at this year’s Fringe with such exceptional vocal and physical training. Every word was clear and audible, and her entire body was engaged in telling the story. I was also impressed by the creative use of space and lighting, and by how she transported us to so many different places without relying on elaborate sets or props—just a few black stools.
I especially loved the physicality of the performance and how Olga brought multiple characters to life through subtle changes in body language, voice, and accent. It was a captivating and skillfully executed production. Very well done!
What I didn't like
At times, it felt as though the writer had too many ideas—which, in some ways, is a compliment.
The material is rich and imaginative, and there is enough depth in these stories that I could easily see them developing into a novel.
My overall impression
Olga delivers a compelling performance that keeps you interested from beginning to end. Strongly recommended, especially for parents and anyone considering parenthood.
