I could go on to an embarrassing level here. I loved this performance. I thought Olga was grounded and engaged every moment of this show. Her ability to access and become a variety of characters was masterful. The respect she gave herself as a child was noteworthy. She managed to be youthful and charming without cliche or annoyance. I loved the choice of wardrobe, the writing, choreography, direction, and Olga’s arms are noteworthy. It was an honor to take this ride!
What I didn't like
Not a single thing.
My overall impression
Olga Konstantulakis is a revelation. Becoming Apparent is a beautiful show. The writing is lovely and it became abundantly clear why there was a choreographer involved within minutes. Konstantulakis uses every bit of space available to her on stage. Her work was powerful and engaging.
