My overall impression
Olga’s work here is gorgeous. Raw, gut-wrenching, ultimately hopeful. Interweaving the past & present seamlessly.
Between her incredible writing and magical performance, I was transported along with her. Relating in a way only a mother can.
Especially a mother who has her own passion and purpose way before children come into the picture.
Also relating to her family dynamic of immigrant parents with a deep pride in cultural heritage and faith. . . and a childhood filled with wonderful awe, but fraught with uncertainty.
I am truly inspired by what I witnessed. Olga is a consummate artist.
