What I liked

The choreography during the Voiceover “Demands of a Woman” sequence. The ebullience and moxie and playful use of the stage as Little Olga, the lighting sequences, the myriad accents and colorful characters we meet along the way. Also the poetry that is her writing. It’s a beautifully written piece. KUDOS!

What I didn't like

Very little.

My overall impression

Konstantulakis fully commits to this heartfelt exploration of motherhood, as she takes you on an honest, raw journey of her transition from her adolescent years to her adult life pre and post giving birth. Replete with colorful characters throughout her life transitions, this piece was relatable, funny and joyful, while also haunting, poignant, and at times explosive. Becoming Apparent is a revelation worth watching multiple times.
