My overall impression
Gracie and Rose is an extremely well-written and performed show. Anastasia “. . . mines gold . . .,” which I borrow easily from Uta Hagen. Her performance is nuanced, sweet, powerful, and she moves from person to person revealing to the audience a story of love. My friend and I saw it with no expectations, and it was moving, mesmerizing and memorable. Although its run at the Fringe ended tonight, keep your ears posted for upcoming performances and see it. Creative and imaginative, theatre at its best; theatre as it’s meant to be.
