The subtle but very compelling political commentary on what women deal with today: from abuse in relationships to access to abortion. Ally creates a brilliant one hour world where we get to have a different look on how complex it can be to make the right decision when it feels so difficult.
What I didn't like
I personally would have loved to have seen this show be in a bigger venue and have an expanded stage – although the smaller stage of this production did also give it an excellent feeling of being right in a radio room.
My overall impression
Incredibly moving. Growing up in a small, rural, conservative town – conservations from this show felt like I was right back in that town. Ally gives a dynamic performance with a character that feel as inviting as a radio host should be: you feel right at home with the character and like and trust her instantly, even if you don’t agree with her opinions or values. Ally’s performance makes it easy to empathize with such a character. Great great show that you do no want to miss!
