What I liked

I loved the immersive elements and audience interractions. Walking in and seeing a tent with QR code clues inside, really set the tone. I loved that I got to wear a glow stick. The cast was delightful and well suited to the material. The gay archetypes were bitchy and delightful. The bus driver and the sister were hilarious. The songwriting and music production were also great! I loved the bass forward tracks and how contemporary they sounded. The 911 call song was my favorite because of the witty lyrics. I also loved the quiet moment of underscore while the two guys are crouched together on the ladder.
The tone is delightfully camp and never takes itself too seriously. At times it reminded me of the sketch comedy in RuPaul, and of Wet Hot American Summer.

What I didn't like

The songwriting was excellent, but on the night that I went there were some issues with the mics. I was sitting close enough that I could hear most of the lyrics. But I think the whole show could be a little more audible if the songs sat higher in the singers ranges. All three guys sounded like baritone/ tenors, and several songs seemed to test the bottom of their ranges.

My overall impression

A delightfully lewd, fun show with great performances and catchy music. A campy gay classic in the tradition of rocky horror.
