What I liked
I loved starting the show by wandering around the theater for a little bit to observe short scenes. Also, every character had a distinct and hilarious personality, but my personal favorite might be the bus driver who’s just along for the whole, crazy ride!
What I didn't like
I wish there were more immersive parts of the show towards the end that were similar to the “choose your own adventure” type wandering that started the show. Also, after an incredibly engaging set up for the werewolf storyline, I felt like it all wrapped up a little too quickly, so I think a longer runtime would help the plot threads resolve more satisfyingly!
My overall impression
So much fun, campy thrills that had me howling throughout the show! It was written and performed with such a delightful mix of horror tropes and musical styles that it felt like watching a classic 80s genre movie and even being in one at times too. Great use of the theater’s space, and so cool to start the show with letting the audience wander around a bit and see different scenes before the main story actually starts.
