My overall impression
Jukebox musicals can be hard to pull off – they’re inherently ridiculous – but Pam embraced the wacky and created a wildly entertaining, and cathartically feminist piece of Fringe excellence. And boy does this team know how to PERFORM. Emily Clark delivered intensity in her acting and excellence in her vocal performance. Rodnesha Green was such a fun surprise halfway through and a comedic highlight. But as a musical theatre nerd, my favorite part was “Light My Candle.” Pam and Jeff absolutely NAILED the duet and it was simultaneously epic and hilarious. Well done everyone!!
