What I liked
The actors’ performances were exactly the surreal, melodramatic portrayals that this show needs, and the whole group delivers on the vocals from start to finish!
The costumes were hilarious, and the staging is simple but effective.
What I didn't like
The music was a tiny bit late in a few moments, but these actors are pros— the audience hardly noticed, because the actors effortlessly improvised to fill the momentary delays!
My overall impression
This 90s jukebox musical about women who have been unfairly locked up for ‘mental health issues’ is as ridiculous and fun as it sounds!
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing many of these performers in previous shows, so I knew I was in for a treat!
