What I liked
I liked that the lady actor had a hole in her tongue. I liked the beginning with the main character as a snail. I liked how painful the transformation of the snail into the human character looked. I liked all that screaming. Like the rest of the show, it was sneaky smart and while seemingly random actually was foreshadowing what the show was going to be about. I like Sam spraying herself with the hose while talking on the phone. It seemed like the show was possibly teetering on the edge of chaos and about to go off the rails many times. I was genuinely nearly concerned for the performer which was perfect for the sobriety narrative. I liked all the fakeouts (bowling ball, sad true story) And I liked that a lot of the times the character would speak incomprehensibly fast. It felt dangerous and great.

My overall impression
A wild show about sobriety. Sam G is always fun, always keeps you guessing. Mischievous and tender and stupid and wise.
