What I liked
I loved trampoline I loved silly sound fx I loved bar break down I loved gratuitous auction I loved high school ex. Each vignette was so clever and so unhinged and really conveyed what it’s like to lose it to the mind numbing boredom of living in a place where there’s so much homogeneity and nothing going on. Lots of fun games to play including yelling WHAAAA-UT when we didn’t understand something she said.
What I didn't like
Be careful when you throw those heavy balls at us in the audience I just don’t want you to get sued one day lol
My overall impression
As someone who grew up in the south I felt deeply validated and retraumatized by this show (in a good way). Sam is an unhinged performer who hits the gas at 1000% commitment on everything she does. She never misses a beat and runs with anything and everything the audience gives her. Peak clowning!
