What I liked
I enjoyed the beers bit. I loved the cartoonish cardboard beer bottles. Honestly, all of the props were enjoyable and crafted with love. The play with the audience was fun as well. I enjoyed the stories – that I’m still unsure are true or false – from Sam’s life that she incorporated into the show.

My overall impression
Sam is a joyful performer who is delightful to watch. She brings us into the country world of Petal, Mississippi, and we all get to have so much fun – and learn some life lessons along the way. It’s easy to get swept up in the show because Sam is having a good time, and by the way of the clown, we have a good time right there with her.
