The cast is SO funny. You can tell they love performing together and their fun is infectious.
The music is super catchy and the pop culture references are perfectly woven into the original compositions. I need a cast recording ASAP.
The script is brilliantly witty and allows everyone to shine in their own special light. Chris the Freshman is a particularly strong performance. With an incredible voice, impeccable comedic timing, and an instinctual ability to get chaotic group stomping back on beat, they led their team to an unforgettable victory.
I ADORE the artistic choice of ball puppeteers. The humans behind the balls really bring them to life in a way I didn’t know was possible.
This is such a joyful display of collaborative art and I am officially a diehard, lifelong fan of Kickball.
What I didn't like
I want more!!! More kicks, more balls, more Chris, and more cross-dressing!!!!
My overall impression
An absolutely HYSTERICAL display of pure athleticism and true grit that has fundamentally changed me as a person.
Kickball IS life and you NEED it in yours.
