The music is good and the writing is funny. I find myself actually thinking about funny bits that happened or funny moments in the song. The end but with the meteor and evil baby are top notch. Deciding to make the bullies do rap instead of sing is top notch 90s/early 00s humor.
What I didn't like
It could’ve been a little longer even honestly. Short is good but I think I had patience for like 2 more songs in me.
My overall impression
So, it’s good… Really good… What’s funny too is the amount of people in the audience that you can hear turn to one another in real time and say things like “wow…this is actually pretty good…” During scene changes. It’s like people are really enjoying themselves and then they’re also blown away by how much they’re enjoying it?
10/10 for comedy musical fans
0/10 for actually following the rules of a game of kickball.
Like Grease if the cast were hotter.
Honestly, even a few days after seeing it, I find myself thinking of some of the jokes or remembering how a few of the songs went. I feel like that’s bigger praise than anything else really.
