What I liked
Adam is an actor to watch! His transformation to the character was exceptional. He commands the stage excellently, contrasting stillness with sharp, violent, unrestrained outbursts. It’s quite a feat to achieve something so spooky with just a single performer.
What I didn't like
The story was quite meandering, as if it were a circling whirlpool, making it’s way toward the climax. I’m confident this was intentional, as it evoked a flitting, ghostly feeling. That said, the slightly unfocused nature didn’t totally work for me- the character was consistently compelling but I wasn’t always enraptured by the story.
My overall impression
An excellent, deeply-committed performance of a compelling character.
