Goody

What do you get when you mix a clown with a witch? I was very curious. I am fond of both, but it’s so easy to play a caricature of these creatures, and to push with bad acting, what you don’t organically have within you. And then you meet a performer like Elena, who is entirely fresh and spontaneous with a brilliant mind, who keeps you on your toes, engaged, as you laugh and sigh and love with her. ... full review

SO silly! I didn’t know what to expect and had so much fun! I sat in the front row, which I highly recommend. Elena is hilarious and I laughed my a** off. Go see Goody and put her to the test! And then see it again because no two shows are alike!!... full review

This performance of Goody was very humorous and soothing to view as I enjoyed every part of it!... full review

Loved the way Elena built her connections with the crowd both through individual interactions and playing with "mob" mentality too! There were points where she'd make certain actions to get a certain reaction out of us as her audience, and every time she did, I felt we were all on the same page (or as much as she wanted us to be at least ;-). By the end of the performance, we were her personal orchestra and she was able to conduct us through all of the reactions she had taught us during the show. Also, perfect placement of the introduction announcements that left an impact while getting much deserved laughs and applause from us in the crowd. ... full review

This was such a fun and well-paced show from start to finish. Elena is a hilarious little gremlin/witch and a master in pacing. No audience reaction goes unnoticed! I loved the concept, the setting and the execution of this goofy ass trial. ... full review
