What I liked

I loved the flashbacks—I couldn’t get enough of them! The writing was so authentic. It beautifully captured how grieving an unorthodox person can create an instant bond between strangers, and how someone you loved for your own reasons may have loved you back for reasons you never imagined.

My overall impression

Beautifully written and deeply moving. A poignant story about Tyson, a lost soul who seems to have found himself just before it was too late. This is the kind of authentic writing good actors live for—and these actors are excellent. Two strangers meet while grieving the loss of Tyson, whom they both loved, though he wasn’t always easy to like. They soon discover that Tyson was two very different people in each of their lives. Any barrier between them dissolves almost immediately because Tyson was such an unforgettable character. A moving story about how knowing someone so unorthodox can bond two people, perhaps for life.
