The staging was incredibly crisp to carry us back and forth across time and all three actors brought such a grounded performance to a story that would be easy to overdo. Tom Szymanski’s work was incredible to watch as he navigated two time periods, creating a character who effectively carried the different stages of his life in his body.

My overall impression
It’s nearly impossible to move through life without experiencing that drifting loss of a friendship deteriorating into a memory. This show so perfectly exemplifies that creeping understanding that two people are slowly changing away from each other. That too many little slights and misunderstandings create a current to drift away on. And the heartbreaking moment when the other person goes beyond the horizon with no way for you to tell them how much they meant to you. But the fact that this show is about not just telling other people what someone meant to you but rather admitting to yourself their impact on your life was incredible to witness.
