What I liked

Tom Szymanski’s work must be spotlighted. He grounded the show in reality with passion and vulnerability. A wonderful performance I learned something from about acting and life. Kudos!

What I didn't like

Sound design was good, but did not always enhance the scene. I’d love to have seen a bit more conflict in the beginning, to draw us in to these relationships more before building the back story. Minor criticisms for one of the best dramas at this years Fringe.

My overall impression

A thoroughly enjoyable story about friendship, how it changes, what goes unsaid and how as we grow older, those friendships change, sometimes without explanation. We often see stories about relationships that break up, but the friendships we lose along the way are often just as heartbreaking and Gabriel’s story highlights that difficult in a very relatable way.
