The writing, the acting, and the staging were all cohesive. I particularly enjoyed how the play was staged with the protagonist taking center when alone, he and one character taking stage right in flashbacks, and he and another character taking stage left in their present day scenes. When the stage right actor had a moment stage left, it helped signify a key moment of change. While there was a formula to the whole thing, the show was not at all formulaic. Familiar, yet original. Highly recommend.
What I didn't like
Just a few moments where the volume was soft.
My overall impression
I went into Three Eulogies knowing nothing of the play, its actors, or the production team. I walked away feeling like I had gotten to know three very fleshed out characters. Their connections and individual struggles felt real and natural. A great experience.
